Hello! My name is AKARI and I am a piano tutor.
I would like to feel the excitement of music with everyone through piano with the motto of "Enjoy playing the piano without hurting your arms, with beautiful tones and rich expression..."!
I was born and raised in Sapporo.
I am a performer, teacher, and musician♪
《What kind of lessons?》
#Practice raises awareness
Reading the structure of a musical score is called annalysis.
Through lessons with two of my teachers, I have learned a lot about the messages left by composers in their scores, their touch on the piano, and their use of the body.
I my lessons I will teach you those kind of expressions in an easy-to-understand way.
One of my former mentor is a person who thoroughly learned from several teachers in Hungary, the country of Liszt, the basics of producing sound, how to read music, how to use pedals, etc., and is still continuing his studies.
The lessons were eye-opening and made me more aware of the Hungarian tradition and the depth of classical music. The sound that was hard became rich in tone, the body that was suffering became easier and easier, and I began to feel the joy of creation.
I used to say that practice was a discipline.
But I understand now that practice is about raising awareness!
Another mentor I have is a composer.
He had composed a great deal of music and studied music more than anyone else.
Perhaps because he could grasp the composer's feelings, he played more vividly than a pianist.
Every time he conveyed the message of the score, the composer, who I used to only see as a great man, became interesting to me as a human being...
He made me think that the score is profound and interesting.
★The joy of playing is the joy of feeling. Let's experience the joy of feeling together♪
*Hokkaido is rich in nature! * I feel that the tone of the piano will also be richer.
"I wish I could play that song someday."
"It would be fun to play the piano."
You might have such aspirations,
but doesn't it require a great deal of strength?...
But it's ok!
How about playing a few song together?
I believe that sensitivity is something we are born with, of course, but it is also something we carefully nurture.
Just like learning English or any other language, learning the language of music, its creation, and its methods, anyone, whether a child, a retiree, or an adult who wants to start learning, will surely have the pleasure of improving by taking my lessons.
☆In order to be able to enjoy playing wonderful music on the piano, anyone can learn how to use their arms and entire body to produce the necessary tone, so that they can express music at ease and without much effort.
The tutor herself is still learning to perform on stage and in public.
Join me and become one of us!(^^)!
〈The joy of playing together...*〉
A long time ago, a performer who is active overseas said to me:
Love music, love piano! As long as you have that feeling, I believe that we can share the joy of creating music... even in the somehow difficult online environment.
I would like to tailor the lesson to each person's needs, and we can work together heading in the same direction.(^^)

AKARI〈Profile〉
Born in Sapporo, I started playing the piano at the age of five. After studying music at Sapporo Otani University Junior College, I transferred to and graduated from the University's Faculty of Music. While a student, I have performed solo, instrumental, vocal, choral accompaniment, and chamber music in numerous concerts and competitions. I have taken lessons from Lantos I.
After graduation, I relearned from scratch the rational playing method for musical expression under Megumi Notani. I have also learned a lot from composer Masanobu Kimura regarding musical expression from scores. While teaching, I also perform, study, and pursue daily to acquire and pass on easy and rich methods of musical expression.
I was awarded the Excellence Prize and Honorable Mention at the 6th and 7th Aoi Music Competition. Performed in the prize presentation concert.
ed for the Tokyo International Art Association Newcomer's Concert.
I also enjoy trying my hand at genre-defying performances, such as bridal and restaurant performances!
My love for music began when I first heard Mozart and Bach. The music that went from major to minor and back again in a flash, I remember being suprised of how cool that was, genius...!
I have so many favorite composers that I cannot decide on just one, but I admire Beethoven the most.
Favorite pianists* Argerich, Horowitz, Nersesian, Grigory Sokolov, etc.
I also like pop music master Takashi Obara.(^^)
