Hello, I’m Addy—a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from Taipei, Taiwan, with 10 years of professional experience in various international agencies. I’ve had the pleasure of living, working, and studying in Shanghai, Paris, and Japan, including 3 years of work experience in China.

 

?For me, It's not just about teaching Chinese; it's also about sharing culture and experiences. In our lesson, I will share with you why native speakers will say this, and how we imagine Chinese when we speak.

 

1. Native Speaker with over 2 years of teaching experience, and have obtained dual certifications for Chinese teachers in the UK and the US 

2. Chinese / Mandarin, Taiwanese, English speaker

3. Have 10 years of work experience in advertising, technology, and marketing.

4. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. As a designer, and Project Manager at different international agencies.

5. I worked in China for 3 years. Pinyin or Zhuyin, traditional or simplified characters, it all depends on your preference.

My courses are designed for beginners, intermediate learners, advanced learners, and even those seeking business communication skills.

Focus on pinyin or Zhuyin, traditional Chinese or simplified: basic conversation, travel, and daily expressions.

->Intermediate Level
Enhance oral communication and reinforce grammatical structures.

->Advanced Level
Open mind to discuss culture, technology, politics, finance, gender issues, and history.

With over ten years of experience working in different countries and industries, I can help you enhance communication with colleagues, clients, and supervisors and prepare for interviews.

*If you want to refine your pronunciation and intonation, no problem—that's my specialty. I can help correct and perfect your pronunciation and intonation to sound more natural and fluent.

I have 2+ years of experience in teaching Chinese / Mandarin

My students are from 6-70 years old. They are in tech, law, commercial, bank, hotel, design, advertising, and education.

I have 10 years of work experience.

I was a designer, photographer, and project manager for advertising and digital marketing.

Having lived and worked in Shanghai for 3 years, I am excellent with simplified and traditional Chinese.

I am a lover of cultural history, as well as hiking, climbing, cycling, and traveling. I have traveled to 16 countries, and more than 50 cities.

I also learn other languages such as English, French, and Japanese, so I know the difficulty of learning another language.

Extra work after each class for practicing your Chinese (audio, reading, or writing)

Through my extensive experience living and working in different countries, I can help you learn real-life Chinese to easily understand and communicate with friends, colleagues, or even your partner's family.
