Jack in Japan Профиль преподавателя
My best and favourite memories of teaching English are in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, in the 2000s when I enjoyed teaching small groups of women who were middle-aged, charming, cultured and well educated. We also met occasionally for lunches and dinner in the evenings.
I'm British and from Newcastle in the North of England.
I have travelled and lived in several countries, including Germany, while serving in the Royal Air Force.
I spent a few years in Fujisawa teaching English at a language school and for companies such as Toshiba, and I have fond memories of group meetings mainly attended by highly educated Japanese women.
I currently live in Katsuura, a small but lovely town in the south of Japan, where the neighbours have been very welcoming.
I have a Masters in Education, a Cambridge CELTA qualification and have many years of experience teaching English.
I enjoy keeping myself in shape through yoga and meditation, as well as having a love of music and ballroom dancing. I have children and grandchildren in Australia.
Most importantly to me, I have a wonderful Japanese wife, to whom I have been married for 25 years.
I hope to see you in my lesson.
