Hey ya'll!
I'm Kat, a certified English teacher from the Southern United States. Do not be fooled by my thick Southern accent! Due to studying Theatre early on in my college career, I had extensive vocal training and I am able to utilize my experiences and what I was taught to help you drop your accent and develop more natural sounding English speaking skills.


I earned my TEFL certification from International TEFL Academy in 2016, and my Associate of Science degree from my local college in 2023. I bring 18 years rich in customer service roles to the classroom. I strive to make sure that each student is happy, understands what is going on, and is learning something new in each session. 

I am also in university, working towards my bachelor degree and in my free time, I enjoy watching cartoons and anime (I just started rewatching Inuyasha & Nana for like the 3rd or 4th time!), playing video games (I love Animal Crossing & Dark Souls-2 very different games lol), reading all kinds of books (lately a lot of manga & YA Fantasy books), and doing all kinds of arts and crafts! 

I focus primarily on teaching conversational English classes, but I can meet just about any needs!
