Hello. Konnichiwa! My name is Junior and I'm from Zimbabwe but currently I live and work in Japan as an English conversation teacher at Shane English School. I have been teaching English as a second language since 2010. I love teaching and as much as learning a language can be difficult sometimes, I believe that having lots of fun during the lesson can help students to relax and learn to speak naturally and confidently.
In my teaching experience, I have taught beginners, intermediate as well as advanced learners. I have also had the opportunity to teach learners of various ages ranging from 2 year olds up to adults as old as 90 years! Therefore, whether you are a beginner trying to master the basic concepts of English conversation or you are an advanced learner trying to refine your fluency skills, I can definitely help you! I'm also happy and willing to customize classes for those learners who have specific learning objectives. For example, some learners might be looking for lessons to prepare for an interview to travel or just to improve communication.
What do I do outside work?
I love visiting places. Right now I live in Japan and I have enjoyed visiting places such as Kyoto, Okinawa, Hakone, just to mention a few. Other than visiting places, I also enjoy cooking as well as watching movies.
