Hi there! I'm Christel from the Philippines! 

I’m an experienced online English teacher with multiple years of teaching both one-on-one and in group settings. I’m TESOL and TEFL certified, and I absolutely love helping students grow their confidence in English! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’ll make sure our lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored just for you. 

What to expect in my lessons? 

  • Lots of interactive conversations – We'll practice real-life English through fun and natural conversations to help you feel more comfortable speaking!
  • Engaging activities & personalized learning – Every student is unique, so I adapt my lessons based on your goals, interests, and learning style. We’ll use a mix of exercises, games, and discussions to keep things exciting!
  • Clear explanations & patient guidance – Don’t worry if you make mistakes—that's how we learn! I’ll gently correct you, explain things in a simple way, and encourage you every step of the way.
  • A student-centered approach – This is YOUR learning journey! I’ll guide and support you while making sure you’re actively involved in the process. My goal is to help you gain confidence and improve in a fun and stress-free way.

Aside from teaching, I’m passionate about cooking—though my kitchen experiments sometimes turn into unintentional science projects. I love traveling, exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines (mostly through food because priorities). When I’m not off on an adventure, you’ll find me watching anime, gaming (purely for fun—I’ve accepted my fate as a casual), or hanging out with my pets, who have an uncanny ability to detect snack time down to the second. These hobbies keep me relaxed, curious, and entertained—because life’s too short to be too serious!

My lessons are always warm, engaging, and tailored to create a relaxed learning environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable and enriching experience, so let’s make each session fun, interactive, and rewarding. Together, we’ll build your confidence and skills while making progress in a way that feels natural and exciting.
