Hello! My name is Arnaud. I’m a native French speaker living in Japan, and I’ve been teaching French for more than 15 years. I’ve always been passionate about education and communication, and I truly enjoy helping others learn and grow in a way that feels both personal and meaningful. Whether it’s for travel, work, exams, or everyday conversation, I love seeing my students gain confidence and discover the beauty of the French language.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, from young children to adults, both in-person and online. I have official training as a French primary school teacher and also hold a certification in teaching French as a foreign language. In addition, I am a certified examiner for the DELF/DALF exams and I have specialized training in working with children on the autism spectrum using the ABA method. I bring this inclusive approach to all my lessons, always making sure that each student feels supported, seen, and respected.

My background allows me to teach not only French but also subjects from the French national elementary curriculum, such as mathematics and science, especially for children who are following or returning to a French education system. I also have extensive experience working with bilingual children, particularly in Franco-Japanese families.

I aim to create a learning space that is relaxed, structured, and motivating. My lessons are adaptable to each learner’s goals and level. For beginners, I focus on building strong foundations through everyday vocabulary, clear pronunciation, and simple dialogues. With intermediate learners, I explore more complex grammar, fluid conversation, and cultural topics that bring the language to life. My teaching is interactive, creative, and always centered around communication.

I also have a strong interest in technology and use my own dedicated teaching server to organize and deliver quality materials. My goal is to make learning not only effective but also smooth and enjoyable.
