Presentation tomorrow? Interview soon? Need to answer clearly in English—fast?

You understand English—but when you have to explain your ideas, answer an unexpected question, or give a presentation, things can suddenly become much more difficult.

If your English is “good”—but not always usable when it matters—you’re not alone.

Often, the problem isn't simply vocabulary or grammar. It's the gap between knowing English and being able to think, organize, and respond clearly in real time.

That's the skill I help you practice.

Together, we can work on how to:

  • respond quickly and confidently
  • explain complicated ideas clearly
  • organize your thoughts while speaking
  • answer questions without freezing
  • discuss and defend your ideas
  • communicate effectively in presentations, interviews, and class discussions

This is not a general English lesson.

We work with real communication and real situations.

Bring me a presentation, assignment, article, interview question, discussion topic, or anything else you're actually working on. We'll think it through together—in English..

Background & Experience

I'm an American educator with 30+ years of teaching experience in the United States, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and online.

I've taught extensively in Korean universities and have worked with university students, professionals, and advanced English learners in academic and professional settings.

My areas include:

  • English-medium instruction (EMI)
  • Academic English / EAP
  • Professional English / ESP
  • Speaking and discussion
  • Presentations and Q&A
  • Academic and professional communication

One thing I've seen repeatedly is that learners can have a strong knowledge of English and still struggle when they need to use that English to think, explain, question, respond, or defend an idea in real time.

That's the gap I like to work on.
