Teaching / Work Experience
I have been working as an English instructor at Gaba schools in Japan. There I have taught one-to-one lessons and seminars to clients from 6-years-old to 70-years-old.
Before moving to Japan I worked in sales. I met clients, attended networking events, organized and ran seminars and workshops. I can help with presentations, public speaking and day to day business corresponcence / conversations.
Teaching style / Philosophy
Learning languages is my passion and I absolutely love teaching, because I get to share this passion and inspire students to work on their goals. My approach to teaching is most suitable to people who want to know grammar or word use nuance. I am always happy to answer any questions.
My students say I'm fun to talk with, a good listener and explain things in an easy to understand way. I'm also always happy to free talk and customize lessons to fit students' needs.
Education / Certification I have a BA(hons) in Japanese Studies from The University of Sheffield (UK), passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test’s N1 (
JLPT N1) in 2017 and completed a TEFL course in 2015.
Please note:I might have to cancel lessons in case my son is ill. Unfortunatelly, I have no family to help.
I have cat and he might show up on the video.
