Hi, I’m Susan — 

I teach Japanese, English, and German here on Cafetalk.

 

I’m half German and half Iranian, and I was born and raised in Japan.

Growing up surrounded by different languages and cultures naturally gave me a passion for communication, and I still love learning and sharing that joy every day.

 

With about 10 years of experience working for a Japanese airline, I’ve had the chance to connect with people from all over the world. Those experiences taught me the value of clear, kind, and fun communication — and that’s what I aim to bring into each lesson.

 

I currently offer a wide range of online lessons, such as:

 

  • Conversation practice (casual to polite expressions)
  • Grammar support
  • Travel phrases
  • Test preparation
  • Free talk based on your interests
  • Writing correction and expression tips

 

 

In addition to language lessons, I also offer sessions based on my unique background, such as:

 

  • Menu planning & creative cooking ideas, inspired by 6 years at a traditional Japanese restaurant and a German-style approach to life
  • Special meals using everyday ingredients
  • Counseling, based on my experience in corporate care and follow-up roles
  • Organization, interior advice, and room refresh ideas
  • Styling & fashion coordination using your own wardrobe

Let’s learn and grow together 

Since I have a baby, there might occasionally be last-minute cancellations or interruptions. In such cases, I will provide a replacement lesson, an extension, or a coupon as compensation.

I kindly ask for requests only from students who are comfortable with this. Thank you for your understanding!

In case a student does not show up, I will wait for 10minutes and then mark the lesson as completed.

Afterwards, I will provide a 10% discount coupon for a rescheduled lesson to those who contact me.

If you’re unable to attend your requested time, cancellation is absolutely fine. I’m also happy to reschedule even within 24 hours of the lesson, so please feel free to reach out anytime!

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
