Hi, I'm Lisa :)

I have been teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) for the last 10 years, first in classrooms in Asia and now as a tutor online. I offer lessons in the art of English conversation, to help improve your confidence in speaking and listening plus increase your vocabulary and pronunciation in an enjoyable and stress-free environment. We will discuss real life issues and interesting articles, videos and pocasts...You will also learn a lot about English culture!

My lessons are tailored to intermediate and advanced students. I love teaching in a conversational style as I believe this is the best way to move from intermediate to advanced or advanced to near native. I see fluency as a state of mind where you feel confident enough to build your sentences in a relaxed and spontaneous manner and are able to communicate effectively in any situation...it's not about being perfect!

In my spare time I love spending time in nature, reading and I am also learning French so I know how it feels to be a student!
