Hi. I am a Canadian living in Japan. I have been teaching English for over 25 years at all levels, from conversation to elementary school to secondary school to university. I have spent the last 16 years at university, where I teach, design curriculum, and specialize in academic English.
I am very easy-going. My experience allows me to have a relaxed approach to lessons and to effectively determine what my students need.
I believe students learn by doing so we will focus on speaking and using English. We will deal with grammar and vocabulary naturally as needed.
I am very curious and like to learn new things from my students. I also like to have fun. Learning does not have to be serious, you can improve a lot and also have a good time!
