Hi I'm Carl!

I'm from the UK, currently living and teaching English in Colombia, but I teach English online from wherever I am in the world.

I'm a certified native English speaker with over 15 years of teaching experience. I hold TEFL Level 5 and HLTA Level 4 qualifications, as well as music teaching credentials.

Some of my teaching experience:

When I'm not teaching, I write and produce media content, which helps me bring fresh, real-world relevance to every lesson. My music background means I use creative strategies that make English genuinely engaging, not just another subject to get through.

I understand that learning can be difficult when traditional methods don't work. That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all teaching. I break complex concepts into achievable steps, celebrate every win, and build the independence you need for life.
