Certified Neurolanguage Coach® | Professional communication and everyday conversation in English and French

Hi, I’m Rubis. I help adults communicate with more confidence in English or French, whether that’s in meetings, presentations and interviews or in everyday conversation. My sessions are friendly, relaxed and built around situations from your own life.

WHY WORK WITH ME

• 13 years in an international business environment, from building a customer service department to working in HR. Professional communication is my specialty: I know the conversations people find hardest at work, from both sides of the table.
• Certified Neurolanguage Coach®. This approach combines language learning with coaching and principles from neuroscience. In practice, you set the goals, and we focus on being able to use what you know when you need it.

HOW I COACH

Every session starts from you: your level, your goals and the situations where you want to use the language. We talk about something real, and I coach as we go, noticing what already works, finding the words that were missing and practising ways to express yourself more naturally. There’s no fixed textbook, and you don’t need to be perfect. Our sessions are a space to try, make mistakes and ask questions.

WHAT WE CAN WORK ON

At work: meetings and discussions, presentations, interviews, small talk with colleagues, difficult conversations, communicating across cultures.
In everyday life: relaxed conversation, travel, living abroad, friends and family plus the vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation you need along the way.

WHO IT’S FOR

Adults at any level. You don’t need to be conversational already. If you’re starting out, we build simple, useful phrases step by step. If you’re advanced, we work on sounding more natural and precise.

ABOUT ME

I’m a native French speaker and fluent in English, and I’ve lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, China and the Netherlands. I’m now preparing to move to South Korea. I’m a language learner myself (Greek, Spanish and Korean), so I know what it feels like from your side too.

 

PROGRESS OVER TIME

Real progress comes from regular practice. If we work together over several sessions, we set clear goals and follow your progress from one session to the next. With your consent only, I may use Fathom (an AI note-taking tool) during Google Meet sessions to keep accurate notes. You can always say no.
