【Motto】Learning should be fun—and results should be real!
"If it’s not fun, it won’t last. But fun is only half the battle—I’m here to make sure you truly improve." That is my philosophy. I provide lessons that keep you engaged while ensuring you make tangible progress toward your goals.
About Me
I moved to the UK in 2005 and currently live in the suburbs of London, where I balance raising my three children with my career as an online language instructor. With extensive experience teaching both Japanese and English, I have a deep understanding of the structural differences between the two languages. I specialise in explaining the "why" behind the grammar and pinpointing exactly where learners tend to get stuck.
My Teaching Style: Your "Team Leader"
I don’t just "teach" from a pedestal; I see myself as your Sports Team Leader! Think of me as a coach who is right there on the field with you—practising together, cheering you on, and putting 100% effort into every single "match" (lesson).
Language learning is just like a ball game: you have to keep throwing and hitting to get better. I’m here to give you the strategic advice and practice you need to win. My lessons are energetic and passionate (so much so that I sometimes lose my voice after a long day!), but always focused on your growth.

All Ages & Nationalities Welcome: While I have a special talent for teaching children, I welcome students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.
Teaching Experience

Japanese Instructor: 3 years at an online Japanese language school in South Korea.

Kids’ English Instructor: 2 years and 9 months at a specialised English school in Tokyo (Online Division).

Cafetalk Instructor: Providing online lessons from the UK to students worldwide since December 2017.
Lesson Policies (Please read before booking)
To ensure a safe and high-quality learning environment for everyone, I ask that you follow these guidelines:

Platform: I highly recommend using Zoom due to its rich features. For regular students, I kindly ask that you choose Zoom when booking.

Camera & Avatars: If you prefer not to use a webcam, please let me know in advance. In such cases, I will also turn off my camera. If you wish to use an avatar, I will match your style and use one as well.

Privacy & Intellectual Property: Unauthorised screenshots, video recording, or audio recording are strictly prohibited to protect privacy and lesson content. (Additional fees apply if you require recorded lessons.

For Parents: To ensure the safety and focus of young learners, I require that children’s lessons be taken in a space where a parent or guardian is nearby.

- Less than 24hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
