Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. 先生の中級レッスンは、先生が用意してくださった韓国の文化や、観光地の写真を見ながら、お話を聞きつつ、質問に答えたりして会話形式で進みます。それが、とても楽しくて「話したい」「聞き取りたい」気持ちを育ててくれる先生です。

老師親切有耐心

イラストエッセイを先生と一緒に楽しく読み進めています。 文法のテキストには出てこない生きた表現、オノマトペ、若者言葉、方言などなどがたくさん出て来て興味深く面白いです。 なによりイラストがかわいくて漫画が好きな私にはぴったりの本でした。 50分レッスンなのもじっくり教えていただけるので嬉しいです。
