Iwa Sensei provides fantastic lessons with exceptional lesson material and lesson plans.
I was very happy to have found a Sensei who can not only teach me new vocabulary and grammar but also provide a practical way to use these skills by reading articles, watching news videos and expressing my opinion.
Feedback was very detailed and great for post lesson study!
I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching.
When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet.
What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner.
I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next.
Koyuki Sensei's expertise, flexibility, and supportive teaching style have made a tremendous difference to my Japanese learning exper

I believe in having a goal-oriented approach to pedagogy. This helps me stay on the track through the curriculum. Using an activity-based approach is also convenient for me to reach out to every learner's comprehension.
