Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. 今は、韓国語の会話が進むようなレッスンを進めていますが、習った文法や単語を使いながら会話ができるように質問をしてくれたり、音声を聞いて聞き取れているかなど、理解度を確かめながら、楽しく繰り返し教えてくださいます。また、先生とのフリートークでは、わかりやすい韓国語で話かけてくれるので、頭の中で話を整理して、韓国語で話すと、「今の文章は、このように言うといいですね。」と、その場で直してくれるので、毎回勉強になります。いつも笑顔いっぱいのレッスンをありがとうございます。
