Teacher Oyu always provides engaging and enjoyable lessons. We have a lot of fun talking about our daily lives while learning Japanese in a relaxed and pressure-free atmosphere. I have been studying with her for almost two years, and thanks to her guidance, I was able to pass the JLPT N3—something I never thought I could achieve. She is a wonderful teacher. I never struggle to find topics to talk about. The conversation flows so naturally that I don’t even realize the lesson is over. Mineco-sensei and I have been reading 吾輩は猫である which is a book I have been very interested in for years now, but could never really understand by myself. Mineco-sensei always prepares thoroughly for each lesson. She makes slides with the words, phrases and grammar for each passage. She also researches the cultural background whenever there's a difficult part or idiom in the text, as well as prepares some sentences for me to read outloud as a practice. We always have a chat about the passage and every single lesson is a lot of fun. I really appreciate all of the work Mineco-sensei puts into lesson prep.
