Nice to meet you, my name is Jennifer Wang from Taiwan. I look forward to working with you.
It has been 12 years since I took a Chinese teacher training course in the middle of 2005 and became a language instructor. In 2006, I obtained a license for Putonghua horizontal examination, and in 2008, I obtained a license as a Chinese teacher in Taiwan. I also have the first grade of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
I was teaching Chinese in the Czech Republic as an international volunteer in 2008-2010. After completing my volunteer term, I returned to Japan, but the following year, I traveled to the Czech Republic again and have settled in the Czech Republic as a language teacher ever since.
When I was a Chinese teacher in Taiwan, most of the students were salaried workers, so I tried to make the lessons fun and easy to remember, but now I am flexible enough to meet the needs of the students. I believe it's very important that I possess an attitude of always supporting my students.
Until now, I have taught classes to a wide range of people, from doctors to police, chefs, travel agencies, age groups and occupations, from 72-year-olds to 5-year-old children. In the class with the police, I used social news as the content of the class, and for those who aim to pass HSK 5th grade from scratch in one year, I translated the reading comprehension questions of the mock exam into Japanese.
