Hello, everyone! My name's Bojana (it comes from a word meaning "fighter", or "warlord"), but feel free to call me Ana :).
I've been an ESL teacher for quite some time now (10 years), and working with students is really fun, rewarding and demanding at the same time. I have taught children and adults successfully. Some of my students were beginners, while the others were preparing for official Cambridge exams. Naturally, I have a college degree and a TEFL certificate, but most importantly, my experience has taught me to adjust easily to different levels of knowledge, and that every student is an individual.
I come from Serbia, a small, beautiful European country. I was fortunate to be raised in Novi Pazar, a town which is a meeting place of two religions and cultures, and right now living and working in the area even more famous for being multicultural and multinational - Vojvodina, Novi Sad. That's probably why I appreciate diversity so much.
What's nice about being from a small country is that you can easily visit other countries. I've travelled to Italy, Spain, Russia, Australia, Greece, Great Britain, Turkey, Egypt,...and still wishing for more!
As for my teaching skills and methods, I must say I always tend to maximize the student speaking time. Our session is about you, not me. I am here to encourage you to talk as much as possible. However, you will also have to ask me some questions (usually students struggle with this since in schools they are used to producing answers).
P.S. Feel free to contact me if you just need a simple speaking lesson, or you need a hand with grammar (even if it's not among my lessons). I'm quite used to students contacting me and asking for different things to be explained. That's just what teachers do.
