Hello! My name is Greg, I'm 39 years old and from Southampton in the UK. I have a variety of interests, such as sport, travelling, politics and music. In my free time I often go to the gym, go cycling or explore a new place with my family. I recently relocated from Singapore, where I worked for the British Council back to my home town of Southampton and will be working full time here now. I really hope to meet lots of new students here and please don't hesitate to message me, I'd be more than happy to help!

I have been an ESL teacher for almost 15 years now and I have a passion for sharing my knowledge with others. I have taught in many countries  before as well as having taught students from all over the world. I taught in Thailand for 8 years, the Philippines for 1 year, Saudi Arabia for 2 years, the UK for 2 years and more recently Singapore for 2.5 years. I have almost 5 years experience of working at the British Council, both in Saudi Arabia and Singapore. I can teach teenagers and adults of all abilities! In addition I have the following skills and experience:

 

- Certified IELTS Speaking Examiner

- Certified FCE Speaking Examiner

- Worked at the British Council

 As mentioned above I can teach adults and teenagers of all levels, from A1 to C2 (CEFR framework). I like to tailor my lessons to the exact needs and expectations of my students. I can teach the following skills, to be tailored exactly to YOUR needs!

 

- General English- reading, writing, speaking & listening

- Business English

- Exam Preparation - IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, FCE, CAE, KEt & PET

- Interview Skills

- Essay proofreading and editing

- Pronunciation & accent reduction

 I am an easy going, yet goal orientated, knowledgeable and punctual teacher. I have a passion for teaching and look forward to meeting lots of new students here pn Cafetalk in the very near future.
