I've been studying Japanese for 3 years and I'm extremely passionate about it. When I was a young kid, I started watching anime in Japanese and eventually developed a love for the language. I’m not fluent, but I can usually get around most situations by using what I know in Japanese. I have acquired relationships with native speakers of Japanese and they all say that I’m the biggest help when it comes to learning English. I take pride in the fact that I have one student who has exceeded all expectations and has become fluent over the last couple of years due to my teaching. Watching him go from barely being able to say “Hello” correctly to now having genuine relationships with unilingual English speakers was the most mind blowing experience for me. Now that I know what I’m capable of, it’s time to help more people.
