Hello, I'm a teacher from Phoenix, Arizona in the USA. I love teaching people of all ages with empathy and I am interested in meeting students from all countries. I started teaching ESL in South Korea in 2010 where I worked for three years. After working at two universities in South Korea, I moved to Thailand so that I could live in warmer weather. I taught in an elementary school in Southern Thailand for two years. I have been teaching adult students online on Cafetalk since 2014. In the USA, I worked as a substitute teacher in Arizona.
Now I'm living at a gongfu school in Tucson, Arizona. I am an apprentice and I'm studying qigong, baguazhang gongfu, tuina massage, acupuncture, traditional Chinese herbs, taoism, and taijiquan.
I'm nomadic and I love to travel the world so that I can see nature, architecture, meet different kinds of people, eat incredible food, and learn through experience and observation. It has helped me to feel grateful to be living on a beautiful planet.
I love languages and I like to live in a country to study the language. My best languages are Italian and Spanish, and now I am studying Mandarin. I also learned to speak and read Korean and to speak Thai at beginner to intermediate levels.
My other hobbies are swimming, traveling, photography, singing, cooking, reading, dancing, listening to musicians, and playing pool.
