Alicia 讲师的个人介绍
Hello! My name is Alicia, and I've been teaching English for over 15 years. I am from Georgia in the USA, but I have lived in many countries including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Taiwan. I love traveling and living abroad because it gives me a chance to learn about new cultures and share my own.
- Teaching Background: I have taught English in the US and abroad to children, youth, and adults since 2003. The courses I've taught include English conversation, school subjects, business English, test prep, academic writing, academic speaking, and reading. My experience includes classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, and small group instruction. Because of this experience, I am flexible with my teaching style and have a lot of interactive activities to share with you!
- Teaching Style:I want to have fun and hear from you! I create engaging lessons that are fun and let the students do most of the talking. I believe that having fun helps students remember more of what they learn and lots of student talk time lets students get more practice.
- Degrees & Certifications: MA, International Educational Development, Columbia University; TESOL Certificate, ITTT

Kamakura is one of my favorite places in Japan! This photo was taken in 2005, but I most recently visited Japan in January.
I was able to visit many cultural and religious sites while living in Indonesia. This is Prambanan Temple.
I love hiking! This is an "extreme" hike in Taiwan.
