What are your specific goals for learning English? I aim to work with students to identify their individual interests and needs, and tailor my lessons to suit the needs of the individual student. As a teacher, I'm patient, kind, and supportive. I want to create a relaxed, friendly environment for learning English in order to improve your confidence using the language. As a native English speaker, I'm well-equipped to help you improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, use of idioms, and conversational skills. I am also interested in a wide range of topics, and would love to have a conversation with you on any topic you are interested in, including news and current events, arts and culture, travel, and more.
A little about me:
My name is Clint Donelson, and I am from Texas. I am currently studying Japanese in Kyoto. When I was in Grad School, I studied literature and philosophy from Japan, China, and India, which inspired me to come to Japan to eventually further my study. Before I came to Japan, I worked for a legal nonprofit office for 8 years. I look forward to helping you improve your English conversation abilities!
