I'm British, and I've taught English for 25 years. I teach all levels. I teach grammar, writing and conversation.

I work with students who need English for work, travel and for general communication.

I grew up in Scotland and studied at the University of Edinburgh, but now live in southern Brazil.

I love travel. I have travelled in north Africa, most of Europe, the USA, and Latina America. I like to explore big cities like New York and also to see nature in remote parts of Peru or Brazil.

I know a lot about art and architecture- I paint landscapes and enjoy visiting museums and galleries. Here I am painting in the USA:

I especially like an artist called Bellini.


I like cooking (usually curry or spaghetti bolognese) and going to the cinema. I watch classics like "The Third Man" and recent films by Tarentino or Wes Anderson.
