Jem S 講師的自我介紹
Hello! My name is Jem and I am an English teacher who's currently living in Singapore. Having been in the teaching industry for almost ten years, I am quite fluent in English and I have had extensive experience working with many kinds of people of different nationalities such as Italians, French, Koreans and Japanese. I enjoy teaching because it allows me to meet and learn from interesting people while at the same time, motivating them to reach their English goals for them to communicate well in different kinds of situations, whether in the corporate or everyday setting.
I believe that being adept at speaking English fluently is a definite advantage in the workplace and in social situations so my way of teaching will focus more on using the language in a communicative way, whether it is just as simple as ordering food in a restaurant or introducing yourself to a new colleague. I'll make sure that you will speak as much as possible as we will focus mainly on both speaking and listening skills throughout the lesson.
Some topics that I enjoy talking about are movies, music, travel, books and food. Feel free to open up certain topics you would love to talk about or what you feel will help you in the future.
