I am based in China now having moved here from the UK. I was born in the great city of London, I am a native speaker with a 120 hour Tesol and over 8 years of teaching English . Both in the classroom and online .
Helping students of all levels and ages, recently I completed a 1 year project of business English with a multi national company here in China.
Helping students to understand the difference between textbook English and conversational English.
I live with my wife Li Han and my 3 British bulldogs they keep me busy. I like to read and take walks in the mountains but love to travel to other countries. Asia is my choice of travel destination now, so many places to visit . I have taken several Muay Thai classes in Thailand.I was a boxing coach for 25 years and wrote a book for coaches here in China. So sport in many forms interest me, football being a passion of mine.
As a teacher I bring commitment and clear goal setting . I take my position as a teacher as an honor and I hope to have the same commitment from my students. So I always ask that before committing to a series of lessons we take a freetalk session to make sure we fit with each other. I understand how hard it is to learn a new language . Having had several very different Chinese teachers, finally finding the right fit for my needs. So it would be great to see you in the classroom soon.
