Hello everyone! My name is Anne  and I am from Canada. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! 

A little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I completed my first university degree in 2002 at the University of Toronto with a major in Health and Physical Education. I obtained my Bachelor of Education in 2006 from the University of Western Ontario. I worked in the public sector before pursuing education and I have taught in both the Toronto District School Board and as a private tutor. In 2019 I obtained my TESOL certificate. 

I love to learn and meet people from different cultures. I also love to travel, read, create, write free form texts, listen to music and spend time outdoors with my dogs.

What will I be teaching?

I will be teaching English to learners of all levels. I have several years experience teaching in the public elementary school system as well as working as a private tutor where I have taught on a 1 to 1 basis or in small groups of students big and small.

What are my lessons like?

My lesson are engaging, interesting and enjoyable and cater to all levels of learning. I am a very patient and passionate teacher who takes her job seriously and treats her students with courtesy and respect. 

I offer lessons for those new to the English language, beginners and lower-intermediate level students all the way to proficient learners. My lessons start from the very beginning and build off of one another, gradually getting more and more complex. My specialty and focus is on speaking, listening, pronunciation and reading. I also offer offline lessons for translation, proofreading, and recording. I will be adding new lessons for all levels. I welcome suggestions, and criticisms for my current lessons and wholeheartedly welcome ideas for new lessons as well.
