Hello Everyone,

I am teacher Mary from Manhattan, NY.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I am a results-oriented teacher currently teaching in Spain.

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish language with more than 15 years experience in teaching students from different levels and different nationalities

I have hosted over 25 exchange students from various countries. I've always been interested in helping people learn English and in learning different languages myself. I have taught ESL for many years.

I have a conversational teaching style. I encourage students to learn by gently correcting any mistakes and by offering a positive and upbeat athmosphere.

I greatly enjoy exploring other cultures especially through contemporary digital media such as music, movies, dramas, and animations. I offer flexibility and oportunity for exploration of such topics during my lessons, at the customer's request.

My teaching, validated by years of successful practice, is based on concrete, every day situations.

My goal is to increase your communication skills, easily and quickly, with :

- reading,

- listening and comprehension activities,

- conversation,

- oral activities for a correct pronunciation and to memorize vocabulary,

- role plays, discussions on interesting topics,

- texts and activities adapted to your level,

- homeworks, if you wish so ;-)

In addition, I can help you with Business English to make you succesful when arranging conferences, meetings, business trips and job interviews.

For information, I will thoroughtly evaluate your level (10-15 min.) during our first course together, to exactly adapt my teaching to your needs.

Soy también profesora de español perfectamente bilingüe en ambos idiomas (tanto en inglés como en castellano) y puedo ayudar a estudiantes internacionales en el aprendizaje de la lengua española.

Metodología:

Mis clases son 100% prácticas con base en la estructura y la gramática de la lengua española. Inicio identificando los conocimientos del idioma español del alumno para fortalecerlos e incluir -en la práctica- todos los elementos de las competencias lingüísticas que quedan por dominar.

Estructura gramatical de manera ágil y amena.
