Hello everyone! I’m HHK.
I have been learning how to play the cello in Austria (not kangaroo!) at a music school since I was 17 years old, and after graduating from graduate school for music, I’ve been teaching it ever since.
I would love to pass on my knowledge and experience on the cello and music to everyone around the world. Among them, I believe that Japan will be one of my starting points. Currently, I’ve got Japanese students in Austria as well.
My Story
I've always wanted to be a great cellist ever since I started playing the cello! Unfortunately though, I couldn’t find a good tutor in my early years, and I regret spending these 7 years under a tutor which felt like was a waste of time.
After this, I went to Austria to relearn all the techniques of playing the cello and to seek a good tutor.
It took me a great amount of time and effort to fix my technique that I once learnt, but with so many wonderful tutors, I was able to learn the correct techniques to play the cello. This has allowed me to bring my passion for music to life on stage.
What I like to Focus in my Lessons
*Learning how to use your body: I will help you learn how to use your body to effectively play the cello.
*Learning the correct German, Austrian of cello playing: I studied this in Austria for more then 10 years, and I have knowledge of not only the music, but also the culture. Knowing the culture helps you further understand how to play the cello correctly.
*If you are thinking of studying music in Germany or Austria in the coming future, I can help you make your study abroad experience less stressful! (For instance by offering lessons in German as well!)
