Hello!
Welcome to my Cafe Talk profile and thank you for interest in my lessons.

My name is Teacher Tori.  I am 33 years old, Native English speaker, from South Africa.


Do you need to improve your English skills?
Do you need a tutor who motivates you?
Are you shy when you speak English?
Are you looking for a friendly English teacher who will make learning English fun?

I have been teaching English to learners for over 2 years. The learners ages are from 6 to 12 years old.

My teaching style:
When teaching online, I like to use the TPR approach.

My role as a tutor, is to prepare the lesson, bring a variety of materials that relates to the your world. Through repetition and incorporating various learning strategies which are suitable for your level and age appropriate. I always include fun games and learners always leave the lessons feeling motivated wanting to practice what they learnt in the lesson to show me the following week.  


Education background:

  • PGCE (cum Laude) - Foundation phase: UNISA

  • 150-hour TEFL certification from TEFL Academy (grade: A)
  • Bcomm marketing degree: UNISA
  • Honours in Brand Leadership: Vega

My dedicated classroom is fit for great learning environment with all the required equipment and resources necessary to facilitate engaged and meaningful learning.

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
