ABOUT ME
I was born in Japan and lived in the United States for more than 15 years. I have been tutoring English for more than seven years now. I have earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in the United States and a second Master's Degree in Japan.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree: Behavioral Science Research (Specialized in Psychology and Sociology) from Juniata College, Pennsylvania
Master's Degree: International Affairs (Specialized in International/Intercultural Communication Studies) from American University SIS, Washington, DC.
Master's Degree: International Relations from Ritsumeikan University GSIR, Kyoto, Japan
QUALIFICATIONS and TEACHING STYLE
I have worked as an English tutor and International Education assistant through many schools and organizations in the United States and in Japan.
My tutoring sessions mostly consist of conversation, grammar, and vocabulary. I create individualized English lessons for every student.
I also have worked in international offices in America and Japan, so I have experience with study abroad and Visa applications. I used to run training sessions to help students prepare moving abroad. If you want to study abroad and need support, I can help!
I speak both English and Japanese!
