SELF INTRODUCTION
Hello my name is Clive; I have been a teacher longer than I can remember. Having worked in big schools and small schools, businesses, language schools and I am very experienced in online education, I have worked many different locations around the world. I love to teach, and I have taught all ages, and class sizes in all environments. I have been working mainly online for the last six years.
TEACHING BACKGROUND
Since leaving university in the 1980’s I gained a teaching certificate, then I was then teaching adults in business English, following that I gained experience teaching in Elementary schools, and even Kindergarten! I seem to have spent most of my life teaching English. I have taught other subjects too.
This now leads me to the next important part: my teaching style. All students have different needs and speeds of learning, I also like to learn from different kinds of people (all ages and cultures). If I am direct and clear in describing my teaching style it will help attract students who fit me and my way of thinking and tutoring.
TEACHING STYLE
I like to think, learning English is all about practice, and communication, who better to practice with than a teacher. I hope you will benefit from the friendly environment I produce in my classes. This will give you the drive and determination to be able to use your English skills when and wherever you travel in the world!
