Hello! My name is Leigh and I am sunny Durban in South Africa. South Africa is an amazing country. It's rich in culture and full of diversity. Currently in South Africa we have 11 official languages and most South Africans are not native English speakers. Growing up as a native English speaker in South Africa has taught me skills in successfully providing English language skills to non-native English speakers. I myself speak 3 South African languages, including Afrikaans, Zulu and South African Sign Language so I understand the challenges involved in learning new languages.
I am passionate about helping people reach the language goals they have set for themselves at pace that works for them. I have 5 years’ experience working with kids between the ages of 6 and 18 years old with basic reading and writing skills. I also have 6 years’ experience working with adults in a corporate setting looking for career advancements. Here I am able to offer assistance with interview preparations, email and telephone etiquette, presentation pointers, how to deal with meetings and many more work place tips.
