Since my childhood, I was fond of language education, so I always tried to gain broad experiences whenever I had a chance.

I gained my bachelor degree in French literature in University and worked on creative language composition and messages as a copywriter in advertisement company. I am a Korean language expert always striving for ways to compose a creative advertising copy so that the target consumers can truly be persuaded and understand the intended message.Moreover, I am a certified Korean language education professional who can differentiate my class from those old-fashioned language teaching skill as a Korean language.

Liz Jeong, a former advertisement copywriter — a career acclaimed as a ‘magician of words’ — has led creative advertisements for global companies such as Ford Motor Co, Windsor Premier, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Amore Pacific, Korea Exchange Bank, and Ssangbangwool.I will direct an exciting Korean language classes with organized, rich, and effective classes based on the know-hows that I have obtained from hundreds of advertisements I participated in.

I cherish my precious connections with people I met while I traveled around the United States, Europe, and Asia. I lived in Singapore for 3 years and Australia for 2 years. The people I met at that time gave me the good energy of my life. Among them, Jane — a sweet old lady and a former church volunteer, I met in Australia — was an unforgettable benefactor to me. I thought I was good at English when I was a student, but I had tremendous stress caused by general public anxiety due to lack of confidence and unexpected cultural differences.

It was Jane who appeared to me like a savior. Jane was volunteering English education for fresh immigrants in Australia. I would usually have a tea time once in a week at Jane's house and learn essential know-hows fundamental in Australian life.I talked with Jane in English with one topic every week. As a result, my English skills naturally improved and I was able to regain my confidence.

 

What is Liz Jeong’s favorate hobby?

I try to challenge, experience, and enjoy various fields such as traveling, reading, watching drama, golf and more. I would like to talk about your interests in class, too. Sharing your favorite field in Korean will definitely enhance your Korean skills :)

To enjoy Korean language and culture properly, I prepared Korean dramas and K-pop music as an effective contents to build consensus with students. I designed a learning programs in a game format to both enhance fun experience and meet up with your needs!

I am planning to utilize contents like interesting Korean fairy tales and entertainment programs. I will provide 'Interactive language program’ that will help students develop their Korean language skills naturally while having entertaining experiences, so I hope you can have fun learning Korean with me.
