About myself
I’m Maiko. I was born and grew up in Japan.I’m a massage therapist. When I was in Hawaii as a foreign language student, I had great experiences with local people. I have had great encounters while I was traveling overseas. I have learned a lot from these wonderful experiences. I’m easy to talk to, gentle and friendly, so please don’t feel nervous about taking my lesson.
Hobbies
Travel, cooking, taking walks, chatting with friends. I’ve travelled to Hawaii seven times in total. In addition, I’ve been to the UK, France, Ireland and Germany. In Japan I like Okinawa and Kagoshima. I’m interested in learning about different cultures.
Teaching experience
Junior high school home economics teacher, Hawaiian lomilomi instructor, Japanese conversation teacher.
I’m still learning English all the time, so I understand how hard it is to learn a foreign language.
