Hi! My name is Leda and I was born and raised in Japan by a Japanese mother and American father. I went to a Japansese kindergarten, and then an International School in Yokohama Japan, where I graduated high school. I am bilingual, and can comfortably speak both Japanese and English so if you need to ask me questions in Japanese, you will not have to worry one bit.
After graduating international high school in Japan I attended Boston University. I have a BA in Psychology from Boston Univeristy. I have mainly lived in the Boston area for the past 25 years since graduating college, and have taught both (Japanese/English) in the US and Japan privately and also at eductational centers. I also am a TaiChi Master and have experience in teaching and competing in Chinese Martial Arts and have won gold medals in national and international competitions. I have small studio where I teach lessons in TaiChi, as well as give healing sessions in reiki, but most recetly due to Covid, I have been doing most of my work virtually. I also teach workshops and semimars at schools, libraries, and companies promoting mindfulness and wellness of the mind, body and spirit.
If you are looking for a down to earth, fun and unique experience learning English (or Japanese), you have come to the right person. Each lesson is uniquely planned for each student. I like to listen and work with the goals of each student, and create a individualized lesson plan.
