G'day! My name is Aaron, from Perth in Western Australia. Nice to meet you!

About me:

I'm a doctor of ancient history, and an archaeologist. I have a PhD in Classics & Ancient History, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Archaeology, Ancient History, and the Ancient Greek language. My specialisations are in Ancient Greek religion and mythology. While I studied my PhD at the University of Western Australia, I taught mythology and ancient history classes for several years. I have a beginner to intermediate level of Japanese.
I'm now planning to teach English for a career change, and so I recently earned my CELTA certificate.



In my free time enjoy playing video games. I have been a gamer since I was 6 years old, when I first played Nintendo! I also read comics and collect figures. I like martial arts, and I used to practice Kung Fu. These days I enjoy bouldering. I go bouldering 3 times a week when I am not travelling for work. Since I traveled to Japan I also watch Japanese pro-wrestling. I watch TJPW, and sometimes I watch DDT and Noah.

I look forward to teaching you English, or just practicing conversation with you. I promise that I will teach you gently, persistently, and carefully. I am new at teaching English, but I hope you will enjoy lessons with me!
Also, please kindly be patient with my schedule, because I sometimes still work as an archaeologist, and it makes my life busy!
