My name is Mayu, and I am a Korean and Japanese language tutor.
What inspired you to become interested in learning the Korean language?
⚪ I want to understand K-POP lyrics!
⚪ I want to have a conversation with my favorite idols in Korean!
⚪ I want to watch K-dramas without subtitles!
⚪ I want Korean friends!
⚪ I want to be able to communicate smoothly when I travel to South Korea!
I first became interested in South Korea through SNSD (Girl’s Generation) when I was in high school, and have been studying it all on my own for about 10 years now.
I have worked as a translator for apparel and an interpreter for entertainment, and I have been working as a Korean/Japanese language tutor for 3 years now. I have learned Korean all by myself, so I can offer you advice based on my experience on what is difficult to understand or pronounce!
I offer a wide range of lessons, from beginner level lessons for absolute beginners to advanced level lessons using business terminology and even K-POP translation lessons.
As I offer one-on-one lessons, I am able to tailor our lessons to meet your specific goals and level.
