ABOUT ME


If my personality is what you’re after. You’ve come to the right place: I’m an audiophile (I love music very much), I love eating food that isn’t exactly good for my health, I could easily spend an entire day playing video games (sadly I don’t have that much free time), I also love watching all kinds of movies while I’m having a meal or on a date.


MY BACKGROUND

I was born and raised in Mexico City, where I've spent most of my life speaking Spanish. I've been a teacher for almost two years. I started teaching English in China to children. But ever since the pandemic began, I mostly work with advanced students on an online platform. I hold a bachelor's degree in design and I also studied at the University of New Mexico in the US and at the UNAM here in Mexico.


HOW DO I TEACH?

It mostly depends on your age and current level. Ideally, I would love to work with students who already speak English fluently and seek to learn Spanish as an additional language and are mature enough to behave and pay attention during the lesson. If you are somewhere within those parameters I'll be very straight-forward and occasionally I might present an example to clarify any doubts you may have.

In addition to that, if you become a regular, I will keep track of your progress and test you every month to ensure you are making progress and find out what are your areas of opportunity.

Nevertheless, if you struggle to communicate fluently in English we will have a hard time talking to each other as I might not speak your language or if you don't pay attention during the lesson we will have a hard time making progress.
