First off, a BIG HELLO to everyone on Cafetalk.
My name is Martin Ibbotson and I'm looking forward to meeting you online, but before that, here's a little information about myself.
I was born in New Zealand, raised in England and Australia, but now I live in the Philippines.
I have a degree in English and Mass Communication from Macquarie University (Sydney Australia), I have teaching experience both in Australia and the Philippines, plus I am TEFL qualified.
My entire working life has been centered around the English language. I have worked as an Advertising Copywriter, English teacher, Corporate Communications Manager, and even as a freelance Journalist.
So enough about me and let's find out, what I can do for you.
I can teach you how to read, write and speak, perfect English.
I can help you with specific areas of English, such as grammar, spelling, vocabulary, or pronunciation.
Then again, maybe you simply want to practice speaking English. If this is the case then I am the perfect person to call. My conversational style is friendly, and relaxed, which means you can practice speaking English, at your own pace. Best of all, I am a very good listener, a patient teacher and when having a conversation with you, I will always endeavor to speak WITH you, never AT you.
As my past experience shows, the English language is my passion and this passion really comes through in my teaching.
