Maria Biondo 讲师的个人介绍
Hi everyone! It's me, Maria!
I'm from Trento, a small city in the North of Italy.
Have you ever heard about it?
The region is famous because of its mountains, the production of wine, and also because many historical spots (as castles) are worth seeing!
I began studying German and English during elementary school and therefore I found my passion. In fact, from that moment on, I got interested in communication and I decided to put myself into language studies.
Since I believe “the limits of my language mean the limits of my world”, I enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in modern languages at Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
In particular, my mother tongue is Italian and during university, I've been studying Japanese and English.
I really enjoy traveling and my biggest dream is to visit all the countries of the world, to have the occasion to practice languages and encounter new cultures.
Actually, I have already started to live my dream since after I graduated I moved to Japan where I lived for more than a year. During that period I also had my first experience as a teacher, I used to teach Italian language and culture in a cultural center in Fukuoka.
Among my hobbies, I love reading and I also enjoy going hiking, doing yoga, and cooking (mainly Italian food, but I like trying new stuff).
I have many passions and I believe it would be wonderful having the opportunity to share them with you through Cafetalk's lessons.
I love chatting, listening to people, and share experiences.
