My wife Atsuko and I have moved back to St. Louis, Missouri to be near my elderly mother (93). I am seeking remote employment during these COVID times, so we can be here for her at this time in her life.
I have extensive English teaching experience. I have taught English Language Learners (ELL) in a variety of academic and corporate venues (e.g., Elementary / Secondary schools, colleges, corporations, culture centers, private schools, etc.)
My credentials include an undergraduate and a graduate degree; a Bachelor of Science in Education / a Master of Education (Secondary) with a focus in TESOL from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
I Enjoy Helping Students Acquire English That W Ill Enhance Their Lives Academically, While Fulfilling Their Individual and Linguistic Needs. I believe in a Student Centered and Cooperative Learning Approach, Which Emphasizes Comprehensible Input, Authentic Learning, The Four Language Skills, And Phonemic Awareness.
I also enjoy working with people; I get along well with others and adhere to professional standards and protocols while maintaining a pleasantly professional and friendly atmosphere, which I believe is needed when accomplishing common goals.
