Hi everyone,
I'm Cornelius, a seasoned and experienced professional. I have 27 years of experience in the Logistics Industry on Managerial level, 1 year as a classroom teacher, teaching Mathematics to all Grade 6 learners and also obtained my level 5 TEFL certification. I am currently teaching English as foreign language on line. As a hobby, i own a pizza truck and serve the best pizzas in Cape Town on markets, events and private parties. I have also travelled extensively internationally over the years both on business trips and leisure. This has also sparked the interest to teach English as a foreign language.

 

I am a passionate and dedicated individual with tons of patience and very committed to my task. I believe that interaction between tutor and student is essential, creating an environment  which is safe and condusive to learning. This is also done with the mutual understanding and agreement between tutor and student to make the learning experience funfilled in a relaxed environment. My ultimate goal is to teach all aspects of the different learning areas (reading, comprehension, writing, grammar, pronunciation) in such a manner that my students, at the end of the course/encounter/journey, have a clear understanding. They will be able to engage in English and apply what they have learnt with confidence.

My teaching style and methodology is to draw from and ilicit what is known by the student to create a customized and structured course plan. An interactive, funfilled and a refreshing approach is core to a succesful relationship in obtaining the final goal.

Course material is provided and shared with the student to reinforce the content of the lessons.
