Introduction
I am Andrew originally from the United Kingdom, TELF qualified in Germany and currently in Nicaragua. I am a fun approachable teacher, one you don’t need to worry about.
I moved to Germany in 2019 with no German Language skills because of this I am fully aware of the challenges and complexities that learning a new language can bring and, because of this, I can sympathize with the difficulties my students face and be patient and empathetic when dealing with new topics.
My Greatest love in this world is travel and exploration. I started my world travel in 2015 for a planned six-monthjourney but haven’t returned home yet. During that time I spent time in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba Germany, Scotland, Portugal, Austria, Malta, and Italy Before most recently starting my new trip to Central America, Starting in Costa Rica and making my way up to Mexico in the coming year.
The reason I love to travel so much is the meeting of other people from vastly different cultures from the ones I am used to. I believe that meeting people from different backgrounds, religions, and social norms from yourself can only widen your understanding and your view of this wonderfully complex sphere we all call home.
Japan is a country I have not yet made it to, but I would love to gain an insight into your fascinating culture from yourself during our lessons. It’s a chance to improve our English as well as have an interesting cultural exchange and talk about our views on the world.
My lessons can be for all ages, from young to old, and can be personalised according to your needs. We can improve fluency with speaking lessons or dive into the somewhat baffling world of English Grammar.
