I would like to take a minute to answer some questions that you may have.


Q. How long have I been a teacher?


A. I have been teaching English for 15 years. 10 years teaching basic and business english to international professionals in a classroom, and 5 years teaching students from Japan and China online.


Q. What type of students do you teach?


A. I have taught every type of student.
Some of my most unique students are as follows:
Company presidents on how to make their presentations sound confident and natural
Adults interested in current events - breaking down US news videos and explaining idioms, context, humor, and sarcasm
Real time interpreters improving their listening skills 
Professional translators - breaking down complex documents in English into easy to understand language for
Students applying for US MBA programs.
Kids of all ages who are applying and enrolled in international schools
Kids who are just begenning their English journey

Q. What is your teaching style?

A. In my classes you will talk more than me. My goal is to improve your English and that will not happen if I am talking too much. I often give corrections and will demonstrate how to implement the feedback. It could be simple pronunciation, or something more advanced such as intonation and liaisons. We will then practice to gain confidence.  At the end of our class, your jaw should be tired.

Q. Do you have hobbies?

A.I have many hobbies, but my favorites are snorkeling, cooking new food, learning new things on YouTube, International news, DIY projects, and adventures with my puppy.
