SELF-INTRODUCTION
Hello, my name is Zoe and my main passion in life is helping people and teaching. I now happily reside in a beautiful beach town in the South of France. Prior that that, I worked in Manhattan, New York for over 11 years in the real estate industry all while providing private language tutoring. Customer satisfaction is my number one priority and the Outstanding Customer Service award, which I received during my career as a real estate professional, reflects that.
Born and raised in Ukraine, I am a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker. However, I have been studying the English language since I was just five years of age. Living in the United States also enabled me to perfect my skills, which has resulted in possessing a near-native proficiency in English. Furthermore, my accent is barely noticeable and I have an advanced grasp of not only speaking, but writing and grammar as well.
As long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher and now I have an opportunity to turn my passion into a career.
During my free time, I love learning new languages, reading interesting books, discovering new places, and cooking delicious meals. I also have an avid interest in photography.
TEACHING BACKGROUND
Currently, I am a TEFL-certified Teacher with a Strong Pass in Theory, Teaching Practice, and Professionalism and work as a Private Tutor. I conduct both private one-on-one lessons and group lessons for different levels and all three languages (English, Russian and Ukrainian).
Additionally, I’ve worked as a Translator for a company in Kiev and later on as a freelancer. Throughout my career, I have successfully completed various freelance translation projects for a multitude of private clients. From legal and medical texts to fiction and websites, I have extensive expertise accurately translating just about any document.

As a multi-linguist who has dedicated my life to studying the art of language, I understand the challenge of learning a foreign language firsthand. And this is exactly why I’m here to assist you in refining your conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and writing skills.
I also teach Business English, English for beginners, and pre-intermediate and intermediate levels. I know how stressful exams can be, so I’m more than happy to help you prepare for your upcoming tests (TOEFL, TOEIC, etc.).
