Advice For Students Who Will Be Studying Abroad

Weekly Topic: Any Advice for students who will be Studying Abroad?

Ishan Mainali

Hi, I am Ishan from Nepal. I studied abroad in the United States when I was there to study for my Bachelors degree. Here are some tips for students who will be studying abroad, based on my own experiences.

1. Be careful about your finances but also try to get new experiences.

2. Safety always first but try talking to a few strangers and see if you can spark a conversation with them! It is always entertaining as well as informative talking to a native of any place.

3. Try new food - every place has new food that you do not want to miss out on!

4. Become friends with people who look, think, and express differently than you. Diversity is awesome in all its forms :)
